Where can I find natural shampoo that colors my hair?

I want to color my hair a dark dark brown but I want this to be in a shampoo. A shampoo that would lighten my hair to a dark brown. Right now I have black hair.

About eight months ago I did a lot of research to try to find a natural shampoo to color my hair. What I learned is that shampoos with colorants in them can only DEPOSIT color on the hair shaft -- which means all you can do with color shampoo is make your hair darker. If you want to make your hair lighter or create lowlights, you have to use something that strips the color off -- in other words, chemicals.





If you want a natural approach to enhance your hair color, why not try something that will enhance the blackness of your hair? Embrace it! That could be really beautiful. I don't know if there's a natural shampoo for that, although I'd be surprised if there wasn't. Another approach would be to use an herbal mix. Logona makes a henna mix (which includes natural colorants for black hair) that is very clean (some henna mixes have weird stuff that can mess your hair up).
umm...I don't think there is shampoo that will color your hair like dye, but if you lighten your hair with colorzap ]like bleach but less harmful] then use John Freda's brilliant brunette, it perfects your hair by coloring in damaged areas and holes in the hair follicle.
there is no such luck but i read this book about beauty secrets and it says that some strong coffee in your hair can lighten your hair. The nextbest thing that i have tried is to use hydrogen peroxide and i have dark brown hair and it turned it a red brown.
Aveda has some really good conditioner that does that.

It enriches your color it is tinted conditioner.
look for ones with lemon in them - but make sure they're really conditioning as it dries the hair out. the only way may be to dye your hair though. or try lemon juice in the sun - but make sure it is very hydrated.
Sweetheart you have to use a color remover then put brown over it.


That's just what I had done.

i doubt that can happen... shampoo cleans your hair, hair colour dyes it... i doubt you'll find something like that lol. you can dye your hair first, then use shampoo to keep it in and healthy. anyways good luck
You might try Aveda's Color enhancing shampoo/conditioner line. It's called personal blends. Once you get them it will keep the color in your hair nad enhance the tones.
I dont think theres a shampoo that does that sorry,


But you could try henna shampoo im not sure if it colours it but either way it does nourish your hair properly.
I don't no but i think there's no shampoo like that go to chemist or super drug and ask them they would know better than me.
Nothing will lighten your hair but a high lift color, or bleach.
