EcoCleanDirect.com - Why all natural shampoo would be have a thin consistency?

I wanted to know if anyone has visited this store. I purchased the laundry detergent and shampoo from there and it was great. The laundry detergent made my whole house smell like lemons. The shampoo seemed to clean great just wanted to know if anyone knew why the consistency would be so thing? EcoCleanDirect.com - Why all natural shampoo would be have a thin consistency?
I don't use that brand, but my guess would be no sodium lauryl sulfate, that is what makes most shampoos lather. It is made of Palm oils, most natural products don't use it because it is a skin irritant and planting palm trees to keep up with world demand is destroying rain forests.

We as consumers have gotten used to what marketing people tell us things should feel or smell like. They often relate thickness in shampoos and lotions to higher quality or smells with cleanliness. It will take some adjusting to get used to the new textures.EcoCleanDirect.com - Why all natural shampoo would be have a thin consistency?
Some companies use ';all-natural,'; ';organic,'; ';botanical,'; or ';plant-derived'; ingredients (such as plant extracts or oils), combining these additions with one or more typical surfactants. The effectiveness of these organic ingredients is disputed.

Alternative shampoos, sometimes marketed as SLS-free, claim to have fewer harsh chemicals - typically none from the sulfate family. They are sometimes claimed to be gentler on human hair.
