    best shampoo and conditioner is of garneirs.. it so fantastic and make hairs as u like without any probs..

    i used to have the same problem as yours i visited

    I straighten and ware my hair in curles I use Herbel Essence,it smells great and makes my hair feel soft,and makes me feel like my hair is very clean,but before i use that i use a dandruff shampoo called t-gel it helps keep your scalp healthy.u should try these shampoo's located at Walmart,Target,or Kmart!good luck

    Is avoderm natural shampoo good or bad?

    i have 3 dogs and they all have itchy red skin caused by fleas and ant bites they sratch themselves constantly up the point where they bleed all i need is a good shampoo to calm the irritation what do you guys recommend and where can i buy itIs avoderm natural shampoo good or bad?
    Consult with your vet because It might be a medical issue and he might recommend a certain one for your dogsIs avoderm natural shampoo good or bad?
    Have you considered flea medication instead? The kind that comes in a capsule and you break it open and put it on a spot on your dogs' skin (done once a month). If you kill most of the fleas and treat the areas where you dogs sleep your dogs will be bitten less and have less irritation.

    You can purchase this at a vet or much more cheaply at Walmart.

  • Does anyone know of any natural shampoos without too much chemicals?

    Shampoos that don't have all those harmful chemicals that strip your hair of all its natural oils.Does anyone know of any natural shampoos without too much chemicals?
    Any health food store will sell natural hair products.Try to stay away for laureth sulfates which is bad for you hair that is in commercial shampoos. Any natural shampoo you should be able to understand what all of the ingrediants are. I currently use avalon biotin shampoo which is great on my hair. also it will take some time for you scalp to adjust to the change and you may have to experiment with diffrent ones because your hair may not like one particular product but love another. also when you condition you will notice you wont have slippery hair. commerical have alot of silicones in them that provide slip where natural ones absorb into your hair instead of coating it. Hope this helpedDoes anyone know of any natural shampoos without too much chemicals?
    you could try shopping at Whole Foods which is an all-organic store. They have really natural products that are really good for your hair.

    any other organic shampoos will help too. good luck

    I think Burt's Bees makes a shampoo and they don't have dangerous chemicals in their products
    I beat that problem by not using shampoo. If you don't use product in you hair, shampoo is useless. Just make sure you rinse out your hair for a couple minutes with water, then condition. It won't feel greasy, I promise! My hair is in the best condition it's ever been.
    try LUSH products.they are available online and in lush stores.Made almost entirely with natural products and they smell gorgeous!I would highly recommend their solid shampoo bars-last for ages and they are really cost effective.
    I do use one but I use it because I need a shampoo for a very sensitve scalp. It is Desert Essance Tea Tree Shampoo. The only place you will probably find it is in a organic food store or online. It is 100% natural (and vegan not that I am one). It doesn't smell very nice though. It works great on hair.
    If your area has himalayas range of products,you should give it a try. Its very nerbal and mild.
    Try going to a natural store in your area. They should sell products containing no harmful chemicals.

    Good luck!

    Here, i copied this for you..

    HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN NATURAL HAIR CARE SHAMPOO

    Many shampoos (even the ones labeled ';Natural';) contain synthetic detergents which can cause damage to the hair shaft, irritate scalp and may be attributed to premature hair loss. Using a natural hand made shampoo will gently clean hair and nourish the scalp. A conditioner may not be necessary after using this shampoo, however if your hair is dry or damaged a moisturizing rinse or a simple conditioner could be applied. Always rinse hair thoroughly for an ultimate shine. If your hair has been chemically treated or is light coloured, you may find that you need to use a herbal rinse after shampooing.

    The consistency of home made shampoo may not be as thick as the commercial versions. The effectiveness of shampoo is determined by the ingredients not the viscosity. Using shampoo in a liquid form enables you to achieve the medicinal benefits of the herbs. Horsetail, Coltsfoot and Nettle leaf are excellent for hair care as they contain high percentages of Silica and Cystine. These ingredients help build and coat the hair shaft while nourishing the scalp. You can add extra foaming capabilities to your shampoo by adding a herb called Yucca root. Add one to two tablespoons per batch of shampoo.

    The following essential oils can benefit the hair and scalp: Ylang Ylang, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Lavender, Lemon and Tea tree.

    Liquid Shampoo

    1. Infuse 2 tbsp of Shampoo herb blend (Horsetail, Nettle %26amp; Coltsfoot) in 2 cups boiling water. Allow to steep for a minimum of 10 minutes.

    2. Strain and add 100 grams (or 2 cups) of chopped shampoo soap bar to the herbal infusion. Allow soap and herbal infusion to boil on low in a covered stainless steel pot until all pieces of soap have dissolved.

    3. When soap has dissolved remove from heat. Cool shampoo completely before adding any optional ingredients.

    Store your shampoo in a dark cool place. For best results, use shampoo within 6 months.

    To create a more concentrated shampoo: allow mixture to boil after all shampoo pieces have dissolved, This will reduce the percentage of water. Your shampoo will also become thicker as it cools.

    Hair %26amp; scalp essential oil suggestions

    Use one or a combination of the following drops per 100ml

    8 drops Clary sage: Helps to coats hair shaft and improves shine

    8 drops Lavender: Balances oily scalp

    4 drops Lemon: Helps strip hair of build-up material, excess oils and environmental pollution.

    8 drops Rosemary: Contains high amounts of amino acids. Helps to maintain healthy scalp %26amp; hair care

    4 drops Tea Tree: Helps control dandruff and is a wonderful Lice Tonic

    8 drops Ylang Ylang: Protect hair against split ends

    not sure if you are looking for a shampoo that does a specific thing but, I have been using the Neem shampoo on my dogs. They were itchy and had dry skin all the time. it was a constant battle and all those expensive brands at the pet stores only worked for a few days. Since I put them on the Neem shampoo (all natural) they sleep better, no more itching and boy they just smell wonderful! I am bathing them every 4 to 6 weeks as needed.

    DO NOT USE

    Pantene

    Herbal Essences

    Selsun Blue

    Garnier Fructis

    These shampoos work well, but they are loaded with many harsh chemicals that may damage weak/thin hair.

    Use organic shampoos that are found in Trader Joes.

    Anything from Pantene Pro-V seems to work great!
    i have a recipe for the shiniest hair ever.

    2 tsp almond oil and

    5 drops levender essence
    The best way to find the best products for your hair is to try them all. That would be pretty expensive but go over to a friends house and use some of her stuff. See how it works, and just keep trying new things. Hair may work with products from this company and not that company....it's all trial and error.

    If I can suggest something, I would suggest you try a hot oil treatment....for a cheaper way to have great soft and silky hair with less frizzies, warm up some olive oil (regular cooking stuff) in the microwave and massage it into your hair while it is dry. Wrap it up in a warm towel from the drier and sit for an hour or so. Maybe give yourself a facial at the same time. Then get in the shower, and shampoo out all the oil (because water won't get the oil out--oil and water don't mix) and then condition your hair. Viola! Beautiful silky hair.

    The most key thing to protecting your locks is to stay away from all heat. Yep, that means no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron either....It's very hard not to advert to these products but just try it for a week. Don't blow dry your hair for a week....try it. I know it's hard not to but if you stay away from things with heat such as blow driers, curling irons, straightners, etc....you will notice a HUGE change in the feel and look of your hair. It will be so much more healthy.
    Girl you need to try this NOW.

    sounds like what you need is a hot oil treatment. you can buy those at wal mart. after you use that, try some different shampoos and conditioners. there are many types for dry hair. its really what works best for you, and you'll need to try a few to find the one that is best for your hair. when you condition, leave it in your hair for a few mintues, dont immediately wash it out.

    I just use apple cider vinegar. I spray it on with a spray bottle, let it sit about ten minutes, then rinse. The smell fades within an hour, and my long, thick hair is never greasy or dull. In fact, I often get compliments on how soft, shiney and full it is. I shampoo with Burts Bees once a week.

    How can v condition and shampoo the hair with natural products?

    for eg:one of my frnd said me abt a conditioner prepared wit lemon...i.e to boil one cup of water with a lemon,boil it till one cup of water reduce to 1/2cup, then to cool it and refrigerate...and to apply this on hair by spraying? i haven't tried yet...how far this preparation is true?wil it leads to any side effectHow can v condition and shampoo the hair with natural products?
    Actually conditioners are frequently acidic, as low pH protonates the amino acids, providing the hair with positive charge and thus more hydrogen bonds between the keratin scales, giving the hair a more compact structure. Organic acids such as citric acid are usually used to maintain acidity.

    Sometimes a high concentration of citric acid can damage hair and bleach it.

    Contact with dry citric acid or with concentrated solutions can result in skin and eye irritation, so protective clothing should be worn when handling these materials.

    Excessive consumption is capable of eroding the tooth enamel.

    Contact to the eyes can cause a burning sensation, and may cause blindness with prolonged exposure in extremely high concentrations.

    now it's upon u!

    Hmm, I have an answer! If you have a local health food store, they are loaded with organic goods.

    From organic food to organic soap and skin products.

    They are more than likely to have the scent of chamomile or lavender. But I do not understand about the whole dramatic difference thing, do you want color enhancing shampoo/conditioner? If so, it is also very likely the health store has it.Organic shampoo/conditioner for natural dirty blonde?
    There is really very little true organic products on the market if you look at all the ingriedients on the bottle and the cheaper health food store products will turn your hair to straw.

There is also a product from rusk that is called something like do over, or something like that. It gives you just enough moistness and product to redo your style with out removing the oils!

    Beat an egg (yes, the breakfast food) and massage it into your scalp. Allow it to dry.

    I think you then comb it out, whatever will come out. The flakes cling to the dried egg.

    Then you wash your hair with any shampoo. Wash well, rinse, wash well and rinse again.

    The protein in the egg is good for your hair, and the moisture in it won't hurt your hair.

    It is possible and easy to make homemade dog shampoo. It only takes four ingredients and about 10 minutes or less to prepare.

    Recipe for Homemade Dog Shampoo:

    4 ounces of glycerine (can be found at any pharmacy)

    1 pint of liquid dish soap (Dawn, Ivory, Dove)

    1 pint of apple cider vinegar

    1 pint of water

    Mix well together. What works really well is to store it in an easy-to-pour and easy-to-use container. Your old shampoo bottles or hand soap bottles can work well. Just pour in and labels as your ';Homemade Dog Shampoo';!

    http://www.petplace.com/dogs/homemade-do鈥?/a>Natural or mild puppy shampoo any ideas please?
    I have used Johnson's No Tears Baby Shampoo on my little dog for 2 1/2 yrs now, and her coat is beautiful; no itching or scratching, and it leaves a nice clean scent. I'm allergic to dogs and this seems to help keep the dander down to where it doesn't bother me at all to be around her all the time.

    Just make sure, like with ALL shampoos, you rinse really, really well. I put mine in the bath tub and use a hand held shower to rinse her, and then blow dry her.

    Good luck.
    Because some of your dog's shampoo will inevitably get absorbed into her skin or licked off--and the rest is rinsed down the drain, where it will eventually wind up in waterways--it makes sense to look for products that are non-toxic and biodegradable. These shampoos can do just as good a job making your dog look clean, feel soft, and smell good.

    Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?

    I was wondering if anyone used hair shampoo (and conditioner) considered 'natural' and was happy with the product(s). Thanks so much!Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?
    yeah, i got this green apple shampoo from bread and circus. go to a natural super market-like store to find one. they are alot better for hair and scalp because they dont have tons of chemicals. it made my hair softer and shinier, and it also stayed cleaner longer.. so i really reccomend you try one!Good 'natural' shampoo products for sensitive scalp?
    I have had great success with the Royal Spa collection. Not sure if it meets your criteria for ';Natural'; but I know they don't use a lot of harsh chemicals or anything like that.
    ahha,

    aveeno!

    it is moisterizing and smells good.

    i love the product.

    but it differs on how your hair is...[dyed, curly,straight etc.]

    if this doesnt help you i would suggest talking to a hair stylist.

    Shampoo bars question and other natural products?

    I am using a shampoo bar made from a soapmaker in Iowa and I really want to support local business and use natural products. It makes my hair very dry at the ends and greasy at the top and overall heavy. I use a vinegar rinse, too. Am I doing something wrong or do these things just not work? Also, are they're any good sites to find natural care products at an affordable price and what are the good brands.?Shampoo bars question and other natural products?

  • I'd like a natural recipe containing tea tree oil to make dog shampoo?

    I generally wash my dog every couple of months but Id like to give him a quick wash down with some tea tree solution as well. Home made if possible. Any recipes out there?I'd like a natural recipe containing tea tree oil to make dog shampoo?
    Honestly this is a really bad idea. While you will find conflicting information, tea tree oil is known to be toxic to pets. It's been acknowledged in studies to be toxic to all animals but especially toxic to small pets like dogs and cats. That's because their tiny bodies cannot process the tea tree oil as a person could if they had to. It's not worth taking the chance, and I wouldn't even try it.I'd like a natural recipe containing tea tree oil to make dog shampoo?
    Hmm let me think NO! let the proffecinals do it Uhh you know what i mean go to nextdaypets.com and click stuff to buy and it will show you loads of Proffecinal shampoo's
    tee tree oil is not good for there coat or skin and they can break out in hives or rashes.. plus its very drying .. try something else and do better research on your choices
    **hope this helps, found it on the website below**

    DOGGY SHAMPOO BAR

    Ingredients:

    * 6 oz olive oil

    * 1.5 oz castor oil

    * 3.54 oz lye

    * .25 oz jojoba oil

    * .5 oz aloe vera gel

    * .25 oz eucalyptus eo

    * .125 oz peppermint eo

    * .125 oz citronella eo

    * .25 oz T-50 Tocopherol

    * 6.5 oz palm oil

    * 3 oz canola oil

    * 8.5 oz water

    * .25 oz neem oil

    * .25 oz lavender 40/42 eo

    * .125 oz lemongrass eo

    * .125 oz tea tree oil

    * .125 oz cedarwood eo

    Directions

    I make this in my 6 qt crockpot. Add lye to water %26amp; set safely aside. Heat coconut, palm, olive, canola %26amp; castor oils till completely melted. Add lye water %26amp; stir till light trace. Put the lid on the crockpot.

    I stir every ten minutes till vaseline stage, keeping an eye out for volcanos in between. After the cook, dump the soap in a ss bowl. Stir every 5 minutes to assist in a quick cool down.

    Make sure to keep the sides of the bowl scraped clean. When my soap has cooled down to approximately 160 degrees (I never check!), add the remaining ingredients, stirring very well. Glop the soap into your log mold %26amp; press the air bubbles out for a uniform soap.

    Does Johnson's baby shampoo with natural Lavender cause boobs in baby boys?

    I just had my first child and I heard that the Johnson's baby shampoo with lavender will cause man boobs.... we were given two bottles of it at the baby shower and I was wondering if I need to get rid of it or if it would be ok to use it?Does Johnson's baby shampoo with natural Lavender cause boobs in baby boys?
    You cannot possibly be seriousDoes Johnson's baby shampoo with natural Lavender cause boobs in baby boys?
    Definitely not. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Only hormones can cause boob growth. Some baby boys get the mother's hormones and they develop little hard bumps (nothing major), but they eventually go down in a few weeks/months. No baby wash can ever do such a thing. Use it, your baby will be fine.
    This not a stupid question because it was all over the news (ABC, CNN ect) that there is a certain chemical used in lotions and shampoos that when used on a boy over a certain amount of time increased the hormones in the boys that cause boobs, its called Gynaecomastia or something like that. I know it had something to do with Lavender oils. I would ask your doctor or research it online.
    just a myth hun, ur baby boy can have 'boobs' from your hormones but not from anything else, sounds like someone is having you on!
    lol omg who told you that? ....The only thing that causes boobs in an infant is your hormones still being in their body....I think this is definitely the silliest ';myth'; ive ever seen.....
    Yes it does and it may cause them to grow an extra set of arms and legs also, watch out!!!
    Yes, it's ok. Gosh, who told you that it wasn't?
    It will also cause him to like chic flicks and long walks on the beach, it smells girly.
    Uh I dunno what idiot you heard that from and why in the HECK would you believe that nonsense anyways. Thanks for the good laugh thou LMAO
    Yes very very large moobs, NO where did you get that idea from, your child will be fine using that baby wash
    LMAO.. this made me giggle!

    I sure hope not! If thats the case, my baby boy will be working at Hooters!

    ;)
    lol seriously? That is the funniest thing I have ever heard....and I'm wondering where you heard this ';myth'; from. LOL
    Nooooo and ive never heard that, i dont think they would make it if it caused that......
    If this works, I know some WOMEN who would be interested.
    Something is wrong with you if you believe that
    you should not have kids hahahahahahahahahahahahhaha

    Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?

    I am using Clairol Born Blonde (not the professional one) and it says at the end to shampoo your hair and then follow the directions that come with the Clairol Natural Instincts hair color (they recommend to use that). The directions in the hair color say not to shampoo your hair first and apply it to wet hair. So do you shampoo in between them or not?Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?
    The idea behind not shampooing your hair before dying it is to use the natural oils in your hair is largely to protect your scalp from being burned during the dying process. I would not shampoo it.Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?
    no don't shampoo until its completely finished...or just condition it and leave it on for 30mins !

    Question for Guys-What kind of shampoo or conditioner can I buy to make my natural curly hair straight?

    Yeah straight or straighter hair would be great. I am a guy and I have natural curly hair but I want straighter hair. Please list shampoos, conditioners, or both that work for what I need. Thanks so much in advance!Question for Guys-What kind of shampoo or conditioner can I buy to make my natural curly hair straight?
    tres semme great shampoo Gorgeous hair starts with a daily routine. Get your hair set-up for styling by removing build-up and replenishing moisture with these shampoos and conditioners. We've got your perfect match!Question for Guys-What kind of shampoo or conditioner can I buy to make my natural curly hair straight?
    a natural and cheap way to go would be to apply white vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. after you've saturated your hair apply egg whites and mayonaise. go out in the sun for a couple of hours until it gets really hard, like a devo hat.

    wash it out a few times and your hair will be straight for about a week.
    There is no shampoo or conditioner that will make your hair permanatly straight. You will need to use a blow dryer and a flight iron for the look you want to achieve or a permant solution you can go to the salon and get a strightner chemically
    I use Sleek shampoo and conditioner, then bow my hair straight using round brush and blow dryer.

    Can using Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo turn natural light brown hair brassy/ orange color?

    I have a few blonde highlights. They are a little lighter but what I notice most is light brown unhighlighted hair is brassy color. Help please!Can using Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo turn natural light brown hair brassy/ orange color?
    it sounds as though you either had cap highlights and the lightener may have bled under it while being rinsed or a toner with too high a level of developer was used.

    aloe rid is a clarifying shampoo and should only be used on chorinated hair or too remove build up. using this on natural hair may cause some stripping of color and rough up the cuticle. if you've been using that shampoo it is possible that it is the culprit

    or, sometimes highlights can give the illusion that surrounding hair is lighter than you recallCan using Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo turn natural light brown hair brassy/ orange color?
    It could be the shampoo. Even if you have been using Nexxus products for years, things have changed.

    Jheri Redding developed the original Nexxus product lines, which were sold exclusively through salons. My stylist told me that in May of 2005, Nexxus was sold to Alberto Culver. A-C then began mass marketing the products, trying to ride on the good reputation of Nexxus. Part of their strategy, however, involved making the products more cheaply, and as a result, the formulations were changed. Consumers still paid the price, in more ways than one. Salons began getting complaints about Nexxus products, and many, including the one I go to, dropped Nexxus altogether. Even the professional supply company that my stylist worked with stopped carrying Nexxus, and pulled everything off the shelves of all the local salons. They could not afford to be associated with Nexxus any more, so performed their own sort of recall.

    Take your Nexxus products back to the salon or store where you bought them. Tell them why you are dissatisfied, and request a full refund. Also let the store manager know that you are aware that Nexxus products are not the same they used to be, and will no longer be buying any of them. Reputable stores and salons do not want to be associated with inferior products either. Perhaps Alberto Culver will realize the mistake they made in changing the Nexxus products.

    Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo and conditioner, or Neutrogena's Anti Residue shampoo are both good clarifying products. It sounds like it's time for a change.

    you don't want to buy anything from a grocery store. Your best bet would be to go to your stylist and ask for a suggestion. You should get something moisturizing and a good conditioner. the one i use in my salon and suggest is Design Essential Moisture retention shampoo and Design Essential 6 in 1 reconstructing conditioner. Again your best bet would be to go to your stylist and have him or her analyze your hair.What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use for natural hair? Hair type:';tightly coiled'; lol?

    What is Good Shampoo/Conditioner for NATURAL African American Hair?

    I have Natural AA Hair. And I use Garnier Fructis...is that a good shampoo/con. for my type of hair?

    I want something that keeps it moisturize, soft, and manageable all the time.

    Also, what Ingredients should I look out for that's bad for my type of Hair?

    thanksWhat is Good Shampoo/Conditioner for NATURAL African American Hair?
    I never used Garnier products, but I know a lot of naturals use their conditioners. I don't know about the shampoos though.

    When it comes to ingredients, you should avoid any type of Sulfates. They strip the hair of natural oils. Also, you should avoid petroleum and mineral oil based products such as grease because they trap moisture out of the hair.

    I personally use Organix Coconut Nourishing Milk Shampoo and Conditioner and it makes my hair really soft and smells great.

    A lot of women with natural hair use organic products to avoid harsh ingredients, but they tend to be more expensive, so I recommend the Organix which can be found at any drug store. They have a lot of different scents to choose from. Their website is www.organixhair.com.

    I recommend www.nappturality.com and www.motowngirl.com if you have any other concerns about natural hair.

    Hope that helps!What is Good Shampoo/Conditioner for NATURAL African American Hair?
    Well, I use Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural. I personally think it works great. It moisturizes my hair perfectly. As for the ingriedients you should look out for I am stumped. Sorry!
