Is there a recipe to make natural cleansing shampoo with ingredients from home?

Well first of all, shampoo does NOT use a chemical process to work! The water somewhat lifts the cuticle and the cleansers in the shampoo clean the hair...that's all. Next, why do you want a natural shampoo? Do you need somethin to cost less? Be better for your hair? Just want to stop using chemicals? Google search ';homemade shampoo recipe'; there's a ton of them. Just know that they may not be cheaper than store shampoos. If it's healthier hair you're looking for, a good professional conditioner will heal your hair better than anything that's natural. If you just really want to use a natural product check your local health food stores for all natural shampoo. Aubrey Organics products are nice and they smell good. If it's convenience you want, the recipes I saw sounded like the average person would definitely have to shop for the ingredients.

Also, if you make a natural shampoo at home chances are it will have to be stored in the fridge so it doesn't spoilIs there a recipe to make natural cleansing shampoo with ingredients from home?
No, a cleansing shampoo is an extra harsh shampoo, it works very well and basically grabs a lot of oil out of your hair. This is a chemical process: the shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to molecules of dirt and oil, and wash out. You have to have a chemical agent to lift the cuticle (outside layer of the hair shaft) to allow it to get in, otherwise nothing that you put on your hair is going to help you. So no, you have to have a shampoo to cleanse hair. Baking Soda may clean it, but it will also dry it out and give you quite a bit of damage if you do it more than once.Is there a recipe to make natural cleansing shampoo with ingredients from home?
mix baking soda and water , after shampoo, rinse and pour over hair, rinse again, my beauitician told me this and it works, gets out sticky leftover hairspray and gels, etc.
vinegar is good for cleaning counter tops in the kitchen and removing bad odors
